The Courage to be a Sucker

I’ve had a pretty life-changing mental shift happen over the past two weeks. I’m still trying to process it, and thus have had a major hiatus in my blogging. I guess I just wasn’t ready to write, or hadn’t digested everything yet.

And to be honest, I still haven’t. Not fully. But enough so that I’m eager to share.
It’s about the current drama in Israel involving crazy Arabs stabbing, shooting, and throwing rocks at their Jewish neighbors.

So, You Mean It’s Okay To Be…. Me?

I watch a TED while I did dishes this evening that excited me so much I literally burst out with “I LOVE THIS TED!” as my husband came home from the evening prayers. I’ll say it again, cause, why not? I LOVE THIS TED!!

TED describes the talk succinctly, saying, “In this illuminating talk, writer and artist Emilie Wapnick describes the kind of people she calls “multipotentialites” — who have a range of interests and jobs over one lifetime.” She talks about how these types of people are often made to feel bad for their varied interests.
