In my daily life, I teeter between wanting to wallow in the swamp of life’s challenges and wanting to pull on my galoshes, hold my head up high, and strut through the muck like a warrior queen. It’s the dance between playing the victim and taking ownership of my life. And though there’s sooo much chocolate frosted comfort in wallowing in self-pity, there is no lasting joy, no fulfillment, and no growth there.

The challenge, of course, lies in trying to bridge the gap between super muddy and Superwoman. Stephen Covey, the author of 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, says the bridge lies in that space between what happens to us and how we react. And the more we focus on reactions that effect real change in the world, rather than those that are simply emotionally driven or complaint oriented, the more effective we will be. But our reactions are a product of our mindset and shaping our mindset is the key to crossing that bridge. Watch this video as I share how using the Work of Byron Katie can help you shape your mindset to expand your personal growth, power, and influence.

Wishing you many little joys,
